Ceywater Consultants (Pvt.) Ltd. has since expanded its activities in the engineering field and taken part in many prestigious consultancy projects funded by major donor agencies such as ADB, USAID, AUSAID, JICA, World Bank, JBIC (OECF), KfW, NORAD, UNICEF, JICKWELLS.
The firm is specialized in feasibility study; planning, designing, project and contract management and construction supervision in the multifaceted environmental engineering field comprising water supply (urban & rural) sanitation and sewerage, roads, storm water, drainage waste water sectors and other infrastructure facilities.
The company operates from its’ own 4-storied building in the suburbs of Colombo District with more than 100 professionals and support personnel at Head Office and operational offices scattered in a number of districts in Sri Lanka. The activities of its key professionals are supported with a full-time, in-house complement of technological, quantity surveying, draughting, and word processing service.

Ceywater is registered as an Engineering Consultant with Asian Development Bank. and as Member of the World Bank Group eConsultant.
The firm is a registered member of “The Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka” and “Association of Consulting Engineers, Sri Lanka” and other national agencies, such as National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority, Institute of Engineering Technology, National Institute of Technical Education of Sri Lanka to provide undergraduate training to engineering students, Training of Graduate Engineers for Corporate Membership, In-plant Training to students in civil, structural and quantity survey.

With the new projects acquired by Ceywater; by end of year 2009, the present staff strength increased from100 to 187 professionals and support staff. We anticipate more staff recruitment during year 2010 with the award of 5th ADB funded Dry Zone Water Supply Project.
Ceywater has also ventured to provide professional and sub-professional inputs for foreign assignments in Abu Dhabi, Bangladesh, Sultanate of Oman. These assignments have give foreign exposure to our staff.
The two shareholders of the company decided to join hands with NJS Consultants Co. Ltd. Japan; a long standing Japanese Engineering Consultancy associate of Ceywater. 40% of the company shares were offered to NJS and appointed one member to its Director Board. |
