Started in 1982 and registered as a limited liability 3 years later, Ceywater is a multifaceted engineering consultancy firm specialized in feasibility studies, planning, design and project management in water supply (urban & rural) sanitation and sewerage, roads, storm water, drainage waste water and other infrastructure facilities

Ceywater has since expanded its activities in the civil engineering field and taken part in many prestigious consultancy projects funded by donor agencies such as ADB, USAID, JICA, World Bank, JBIC (OECF), KfW, NORAD, UNICEF, JICKWELLS The firm was incorporated as a private limited liability company in 1991. The company operates from their own 4-storied building in the suburbs of Colombo with more than 100 professionals and support personnel in Head Office and operational offices scattered in a number of districts in Sri Lanka .
